Hello Black Diamond Polo Club members, polo enthusiasts and the polo curious!

Welcome to Black Diamond Polo Club’s 2008 season! I’m sure it has been a long cold winter for most and that all are eager for polo under the sun, on a horse’s back, on a vast green field, in the beautiful foothills of Alberta! Well, that time has come and I would like to begin it by extending an invitation for all to come and join us in enjoying the sport at our club. We have polo on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6 o'clock and on Saturdays at 11 o'clock in the morning. I would like to encourage people to come out and watch some polo, and if it appeals to you, you can come out and play. Whether you are an experienced player or simply curious, we can get you involved at a very reasonable cost.

We have a great atmosphere at the club, suitable for the entire family and focused on enjoying the horses and the sport of polo. We want everyone to be involved and improve. We are offering individual lessons and lesson packages for anyone from an absolute beginner, to those looking to work on their game. Basic polo riding technique, hitting, rules and game strategy will be covered. All lessons will be customized to the individual, we will move at a pace dictated by the student's skill and comfort level. The practice chukkas will be focused on everyone's involvement and some will be used as more of a coaching league. We will have friendly but competitive match games and there will be a number of tournaments throughout the season. Come on out, all are welcome, lets enjoy some polo!
